Conference Summary
SAE Commercial Vehicle Engineering Congress (COMVEC) 2025
Sept 16 – 18, 2025, Schaumburg, Illinois, USA
SAE COMVEC is the premier event held annually in the US which covers all things commercial vehicles. Panels and individual technical talks are held in multiple tracks over several days, on a broad range of topics relevant to heavy-duty on- and off-road transportation, agriculture, construction, rail, marine, and related fields.

For the first time, there are deregulatory forces that are making executives hit “pause” on and rethink their product strategies. Advanced technologies – hybridization, AI/ML, connected vehicles, low carbon fuels – are certainly advancing but the industry is betting on smart collaborations.
